WINTER 2026

6 WEEK SESSION

Join me at the studio for a special series of drawing classes where we will unpack the fundamentals of this mighty art skill! This is a class that is perfect for kids who LOVE to draw! Each class we will learn new techniques and work towards a final composition. Students in these classes will learn how turn photos of people they love and admire into portrait sketches. Students will discover incredible techniques like learning how to draw facial expressions, emotions, hairstyles and body positions. 

These classes are designed for students who are 7 years old to 14 years old.

Please bring in colour printed photos of a minimum 6 people. This can include family portraits, selfies or realistic photos of their favourite actors/characters.

Drawing experience is not necessary in this class. Students will leave with not only a beautiful drawing but a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

Class 1: MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 2026.

Class 2: MONDAY, JANUARY 12, 2026.

Class 3: MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2026.

Class 4: MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026.

Class 5: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2026.

Class 6: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2026.

MAKE-UP CLASS: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2026.. Students who miss more than 1 class do so at their own loss.


INVESTMENT: 6 WEEK SESSION $375+ HST *includes drawing substrates, guided instruction and studio time.

STUDIO TIME: 3:30PM-5:00PM
AGES 8-14

To allow more flexibility for students coming from Collingwood and surrounding area I have extended the start time of this session to 4:00pm. The studio is open at 3:30 for any walkers from BVCS- they can settle into the studio early and have a snack before class starts.

LOCATION: THE IMAGINATION STUDIO, 186 MARSH STREET, CLARKSBURG
