SUMMER DRAWING CAMP IS A SERIES OF STUDIO-BASED DRAWING CLASSES BALANCED SO BEAUTIFULLY WITH TIME SPENT IN THE RICHNESS OF NATURE.

Join me for a beautiful series of drawing lessons at The Imagination Studio. This camp is perfect for kids who LOVE to draw! Each day, we will experience various drawing warm-ups to stretch our creative muscles, inspire laughter and loosen up our expectations. We will work toward rendering a realistic animal drawing and learn how to bring the elements of each component to the page through careful demonstrations, drawing lessons and student empowerment. Students will explore and tune into the technical wonders of coloured pencils and learn to use them like they’ve never imagined before!

BUT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT! GUESS WHAT….?

Students in this camp will also enjoy a truly unique experience: the rare opportunity to draw a live animal, presented and handled by a professional animal handler. The presence of a live animal in the studio is both captivating and inspiring, inviting students to observe closely capture movement and translate the beauty of the natural world onto paper.

Drawing from life brings an exciting challenge– animals move shift and never stay perfectly still. Through this dynamic experience young artists will learn to see more deeply, respond quickly and develop strong observational skills resulting in expressive vivid drawings that reflect the energy and life of their subject. This is one of those rare art experiences your child will remember long after the summer is over.

Students will leave with not only a beautiful drawing portfolio but also a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

INVESTMENT: Early bird (registration opens February 1- March 31, 2026) $500+ HST. Later bird (register April 1-June 15, 2026) $535 + HST

DATES: ☀︎ MONDAY-THURSDAY JULY 27/28/29/30 (4 day camp)

AGES: 6-14

CAMP HOURS: 9AM-3PM

LOCATION: THE IMAGINATION STUDIO, 186 Marsh Street, Clarksburg.

These classes are designed to teach your child fine art techniques. This requires concentration and a group commitment to work through the drawing process.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. IF BOOKING FOR SUMMER CAMP, ANY BOOKINGS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 1ST ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THE 7 DAY GRACE PERIOD IS VOID. THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO CAMP START DATES AND CONSIDERED LAST MINUTE BOOKING FOR US. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD, AND NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK OR IF THERE ARE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS. IF YOUR CHILD IS UNABLE TO ATTEND CAMP AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRANSFER YOUR CHILD’S SPOT TO A KNOWN FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER YOU MAY SUBMIT BY E-MAIL TO THE IMAGINATION STUDIO A REQUEST TO TRANSFER YOUR CHILD’S SPOT BY NO LESS THAN JUNE 1ST OF THAT PROGRAM YEAR. REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 1ST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE NOTE THAT REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS (BEFORE JUNE 1ST) DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR CHILD’S SPOT WILL BE FILLED AND THAT THE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT APPLIES FOR ALL BOOKINGS, REGARDLESS OF CAMP TRANSFERS IF YOUR CHILD’S SPOT IS FILLED.
