THESE ART CLASSES OFFER A SERIES OF COLOURFUL ART LESSONS AND IMAGINATIVE PROJECT INVITATIONS THAT WILL INSPIRE STUDENTS TO SEE THE WORLD AROUND THEM THROUGH THE EYES OF AN ILLUSTRATOR.

Join me after school for an adventure in illustration at The Imagination Studio! In these classes students will learn how to draw and paint the most adorable characters and discover the magic of gouache paint as the base for our illustrations. This special opaque watercolour will allow us to add details in pencil crayon and work in layers on paper.

These classes celebrate the magical feeling of drawing and painting paired so perfectly together.

Theme: This fall, students will illustrate a magical Halloween night filled with trick-or-treaters in creative costumes.

Students will learn how to paint a spooky evening background, exploring the colours, shadows and glowing light that make Halloween night feel so special. They’ll also learn how to illustrate costumed characters and dream up unique Halloween costumes, building a lively scene full of personality, imagination and storytelling.

A fun combination of painting, character illustration and creative storytelling, all wrapped up in the magic of Halloween night.

Students will leave with not only beautiful work of art- but also total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring. Art classes at The Imagination Studio carve out a special kind of creative magic for your kids.

Parents are invited to see the class gallery on the final day of class. Please arrive 5 minutes early to celebrate and explore our student body of work.

Class 5: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 7, 2026. ~ Elements of Halloween Night

Class 6: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 6, 2026. ~ Refining the Illustration + Prismacolours

MAKE-UP CLASS: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 21, 2026. Students who miss more than 1 class do so at their own loss.

CLASS HOURS:

4:00PM-5:00PM. The studio doors open at 3:30pm for any walkers. Students are welcome to eat an after school snack and settle into the space. Please arrive on time for pick up.

LOCATION: The Imagination Studio, 186 Marsh Street, Clarksburg, ON.

INVESTMENT: $275 + HST
