Winter Drawing Series at The Imagination Studio

Welcome to an inspiring series of adult drawing classes, reimagined, this winter at The Imagination Studio! These classes are perfect for anyone who loves drawing and wants to reconnect with their creative side in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere.

Embossing is the art of shaping metal by hand. Unlike casting or engraving, we won’t remove metal, we will draw with pressure. In my drawing classes, we do this so beautifully. This series of workshops offers a fresh twist, swapping pencils and erasers for metal and hand tools. Drawing in 3D, every line we make is felt- it has weight, shadows and dimension. Your intuitive sense of line, rhythm and form will translate with your own unique style in this medium.

Each week in these drawing classes, we will turn to a different theme to inspire and gently guide you. You’ll have flexibility to choose from different a variety of designs or create your own within the theme. In our final class, the world is your oyster and you will choose, design and create whatever inspires you most infused with all that you have learned.

Cozy up in the studio. Take time to make beautiful art pieces with your hands, tune into an old world art form and see for yourself why this skill has captivated artists for centuries.

INVESTMENT: $260 + HST
STUDIO TIME: 11AM-1PM (2 hours)

Class 1: Thursday February 12, 2026. Beautiful Birds Class

Class 2: Thursday February 19, 2026. Celestial Class

Class 3: Thursday February 26, 2026. Botanical Class

Class 4: Thursday March 5, 2026. Open Studio/Blank Canvas Class

Because everyone has a different feeling about inclement weather, If the roads are closed and we are experiencing a severe storm, class with be rescheduled. If the roads are open, class will remain as scheduled.

All class materials are provided.

If chilly weather is upon us, please bring slippers and a not precious sweater. THE STUDIO IS LOCATED IN AN OLD BUILDING.

REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. YOU ARE ABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR SPOT TO A FRIEND IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE COURSE. STUDENTS WHO MISS CLASS, DO SO AT THEIR OWN LOSS.
