Shared Still Life: Drawing Together

This one-off evening workshop is an invitation to step into the studio, learn some of the drawing approaches I use in my own work and draw together.

We’ll work from a still life reference, using it as a starting point for observation, mark-making, and exploration. I’ll begin by drawing alongside you, sharing my thinking, choices, and techniques as the work unfolds. From there, you’ll be encouraged to respond in your own way, following what interests you and letting your drawing develop naturally.

This workshop is all about experiencing what it feels like to draw in a shared studio space: to watch an artist work, to try new approaches, and to allow your drawing to evolve without pressure. You’re invited to experiment, observe, and enjoy the quiet magic that happens when adults gather to draw.

Whether you’re new to drawing or already have experience, this evening offers a welcoming way to reconnect with making art in community.

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike.

INVESTMENT: $50+ HST
STUDIO TIME: 6PM-7:30 PM (1.5 hours)

All class materials are provided.

If chilly weather is upon us, please bring slippers and a not precious sweater. THE STUDIO IS LOCATED IN AN OLD BUILDING.
