Adult Drawing Class: The Great Portrait Reveal

Bring your favourite person to the studio for an evening that’s equal parts art class, night on the town, and hilarious surprise. Your “person” can be a partner, best friend, sibling, parent, or anyone who’s up for a little creative adventure.

The Great Portrait Reveal is an evening all about seeing someone from a different perspective. You’ll sit across from your partner, friend, sibling, parent, or favourite person and create a portrait of them using pencil and ink.

This isn’t about creating a perfectly realistic portrait or proving your drawing skills. It’s about taking a creative risk, slowing down enough to really look at someone, and seeing what happens when you try to capture the person in front of you.

Every portrait will be completely unique because every artist will bring their own way of seeing to the page. The choices you make, the details you notice, and the way you translate that person into a drawing all become part of the story.

Some portraits might be hilariously unexpected. Some might be surprisingly beautiful. Some might capture a little spark of personality that makes everyone smile. The fun is in letting go of expectations and embracing the process.

With guidance and encouragement throughout the evening, I’ll help set you up for success with your portrait.

INVESTMENT: $160+ HST This includes 2 participants.
STUDIO TIME: 6PM-7:30 PM (1.5 hours)

All class materials are provided. Tea will be served.

If chilly weather is upon us, please bring slippers and a not precious sweater. THE STUDIO IS LOCATED IN AN OLD BUILDING.

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. YOU ARE ABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR SPOT TO A FRIEND IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE COURSE. STUDENTS WHO MISS CLASS, DO SO AT THEIR OWN LOSS.
