Colourful Blooms: Adult Creative Painting

This spring painting workshop offers adults a rare opportunity to experience the same joyful, imaginative approach to painting that I use in my children’s classes at The Imagination Studio.

So often, parents and adults tell me how inspired they are by the artwork created here- by its colour, freedom, confidence, and sense of play. This workshop is a chance to step into that process yourself. Guided almost exactly as I would guide a children’s class, you’ll be invited to paint vibrant spring flowers in a way that prioritizes exploration, intuition, and creative courage.

Rather than focusing on technical perfection, we’ll lean into colour, movement, and expressive mark-making. I will lead you through the process and show you how we can get to a place of whimsy and creative freedom while encouraging you to trust your instincts and make the work your own.

This workshop is about rediscovering what it feels like to create without self-editing- to play, experiment, and end up with a bold, beautiful painting that surprises you. It’s fun, freeing, and deeply energizing.

If you’ve ever looked at the student artwork coming out of the studio and wished you could create that way too, this workshop is for you.

INVESTMENT: $75+ HST
STUDIO TIME: 6PM-8PM (2 hours)

If chilly weather is upon us, please bring slippers and a not precious sweater. THE STUDIO IS LOCATED IN AN OLD BUILDING.

REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. YOU ARE ABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR SPOT TO A FRIEND IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE COURSE. STUDENTS WHO MISS CLASS, DO SO AT THEIR OWN LOSS.
