A COLOURFUL AFTER SCHOOL SERIES OF ART LESSONS AND ENRICHMENT at The Imagination Studio

WINTER SESSION 2023

🌈 WEDNESDAY’S

Join me at the studio for a series of colourful painting and drawing lessons after school! This program is designed to enrich your child’s experience within the world of colour. While lessons are guided and thoughtfully planned to set students up for success, these classes offer a lot of space for creativity to expand and have roots in exploration that extend beyond technical skills. Students will use only the finest fine art supplies and explore different invitations to paint and draw throughout the session. I often think that colour is my favourite language of all! Colour expresses moods, feelings, and ideas and informs how we experience the world. And when we tune into it, we can see the world with so much beauty and curiosity. 

We often call things blue but they are really purple like blueberries. The blue whale is closer to grey. Did you know we can see more variations of green than any other colour? From aqua, emerald, forest green, olive, khaki, sage, forest green, bottle green, mint, jade, moss, pea green, grass green, pine, chartreuse, kelly green, seafoam green and pistachio, it is clear that we live in a rich sea of colour. 

Students in this session can unwind after a day of school and soak into the world of colour at The Imagination Studio. Each class offers a different art lesson and experience.

Lesson 3: Painting with Complimentary Colours

Lesson 4: Blueberries Are Not Blue! 

Lesson 5: Landscape Painting with Warm and Cool Colours 

Lesson 6: The Magic of Purple and Orange

SESSION INCLUDES: Painting supplies, all materials, guided instruction and studio time.

Class 2: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2024.

Class 3: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2024.

Class 4: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2024.

Class 5: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2024.

Class 6: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2024.

Make-up class: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2024. Students who miss more than 1 class do so at their own loss.
INVESTMENT: $300 + HST
STUDIO TIME: 3:30PM-5:00PM

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK OR IF THERE ARE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS.
