SPRING 2023

6 WEEK SESSION

Join me at the studio for a special series of drawing classes where we will unpack the fundamentals of this mighty art skill! This is a class that is perfect for kids who LOVE to draw! Each class we will learn new techniques and work towards a final composition. Students will also practice warm-up and simple drawing exercises to expand into their creative potential.

These classes are designed for students who are 8 years old to 14 years old.

This session is designed to be paired with a specific Drawing Kit, prepared specifically for the course. Students must bring their drawing kits to class each and every time. Kits include: a select range of both woodless and lacquered graphite pencils in various hardnesses, natural rubber eraser, kneadable artists eraser, pencil case, top notch pencil sharpener, shading tool and sandpaper. Students will keep their drawing kits after the course ends.

Drawing experience is not necessary but is an asset in this class. Students will leave with not only a beautiful drawing but a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

Class 3: Tuesday APRIL 25, 2023

Class 4: Tuesday MAY 2, 2023

Class 5: Tuesday MAY 9 , 2023.

Class 6: Tuesday, MAY 16, 2023

Make-up class Wednesday May 17, 2023. Students who miss more than 1 class do so at their own loss.


INVESTMENT: $330 + HST *includes drawing substrates, guided instruction and studio time.

NOTE: PLEASE ADD A DRAWING KIT TO YOUR CART DURING REGISTRATION IF YOUR CHILD HAS NOT YET TAKEN THIS COURSE. KITS ARE $30 AND STUDENTS CAN KEEP THEM AFTER THE COURSE FINISHES. IF YOUR CHILD HAS A KIT ALREADY FROM THIS COURSE, YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE ANOTHER KIT. PLEASE REACH PUT BY EMAIL IF AN ITEM(S) NEED REPLACING. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING THEIR OWN MATERIALS IN FOR THESE CLASSES. I LIKE TO ENSURE THAT ALL STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE SAME DRAWING MATERIALS TO KEEP THE COURSE EQUITABLE.

NOTE

These are not draw-whatever-you-want classes. These are guided lessons which teach and build a foundation in drawing. Much like learning how to play the piano, these classes teach essential skills to give kids tools in enrich their fine art practice. Students are expected to participate in the lesson. You can draw what you like at home.

REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK OR IF THERE ARE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS.
