KIDS DRAWING CLASS
FALL 2022
5 WEEK SESSION
Join me at the studio for a special series of drawing classes where we will unpack the fundamentals of this mighty art skill! This is a class that is perfect for kids who LOVE to draw! Each class we will learn new techniques and work towards a final composition. Students will also practice warm-up and simple drawing exercises to expand into their creative potential.
These classes are designed for students who are 8 years old to 14 years old.
This session is designed to be paired with a specific Drawing Kit, prepared specifically for the course. Students must bring their drawing kits to class each and every time. Kits include: a select range of both woodless and lacquered graphite pencils in various hardnesses, natural rubber eraser, kneadable artists eraser, pencil case, top notch pencil sharpener, shading tool and sandpaper. Students will keep their drawing kits after the course ends.
Drawing experience is not necessary but is an asset in this class. Students will leave with not only a beautiful drawing but a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

Class 1: Tuesday November 1, 2022
Class 2: Tuesday November 8, 2022.
Class 3: Tuesday November 15, 2022.
Class 4: Tuesday November 29 , 2022.
Class 5: Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Make-up class Monday December 5, 2022.
INVESTMENT: $250 + $30 DRAWING KIT ($280 + HST) *includes drawing substrates, guided instruction and studio time.
STUDIO TIME: 3:30AM-5:00PM

NOTE
These are not draw-whatever-you-want classes. These are guided lessons which teach and build a foundation in drawing. Much like learning how to play the piano, these classes teach essential skills to give kids tools in their toolkit of visual expression. Students are expected to participate in the lesson. You can draw what you like at home.

FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF ENROLMENT. REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $75 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS.CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS (CLASS START DATE) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT ARE TRANSFERABLE AND ARE VOID OF THE 7 DAY REFUND POLICY. PLEASE CONTACT THE IMAGINATION STUDIO NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE TRANSFER FORM. WE REQUIRE A COMPLETE TRANSFER OF CLASS REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE TRANSFERRED PARTICIPANT TO VALIDATE THE TRANSFER 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE RECEIVED IN WRITING TO THEIMAGINATIONSTUDIOMAIL@GMAIL.COM.CHILDREN WITHOUT COMPLETED TRANSFER OF CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS BY PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CAMP. WE ARE UNABLE TO ISSUE CAMP CREDITS. NO CREDITS FOR MISSED CLASSES. Refunds will not be given, and no adjustments (credits) or postponements will be made for missed or partially attended classes. In the event of a mandatory shut-down, classes will transform to a digital platform and art kits will be provided with zoom classes. Please remember this is a small scale family-owned business. Realities presented due to Covid-19 sadly means less flexibility in some instances.
