SHARED CREATIVITY: A MOTHER & DAUGHTER ART CLASS

Step into The Imagination Studio, where I’ll welcome you into a space filled with thoughtfully chosen materials, creative possibility, and a calm, supportive energy that lets you settle in and begin. I’ll be there to guide you, set the tone, and gently lead the experience—so you can relax, feel taken care of, and simply create together.

In this one hour workshop, mothers and daughters are invited to connect through art in a way that feels both meaningful and fun. You don’t need to come with ideas or experience, I will provide thoughtful prompts, clear guidance, and a selection of themes so there’s no pressure to “figure it out.”

Together, you’ll be working on a diptych: a single artwork made of two parts. One sheet of paper will be divided in half: one for you, one for her. You’ll each paint your own piece, side by side, exploring a shared idea in your own way. At the end, your two halves come together- separate expressions forming one complete image.

If you’re coming as a trio, one mother and two daughters, you’re welcome to create a triptych: three connected pieces that unfold into a single story.

You’ll be able to choose your medium when you sign up:

• Acrylic paint (bold, colourful, expressive)

• Watercolour/Gouache (soft, fluid, and luminous)

I’ll provide a curated selection of themes—like day and night, mirrored imagery, or shared forms—so you can focus on the experience rather than the planning. You’ll be supported every step of the way, with just enough structure to feel confident, and just enough freedom to make it your own.

No perfection required. Just presence, process, and a piece of art that only the two (or three) of you could create.

DATES:

Class 1: MONDAY APRIL 20, 2026.

Class 2: MONDAY APRIL 27, 2026.

Class 3: MONDAY MAY 4, 2026.

Class 4: MONDAY MAY 11, 2026.

MAKE-UP CLASS: MONDAY MAY 25, 2026. Students who miss more than 1 class do so at their own loss.

CLASS HOURS:

STUDIO HOURS: 3:30PM-5:00PM. Please arrive on time for pick up.

LOCATION: The Imagination Studio, 186 Marsh Street, Clarksburg, ON.

INVESTMENT: 240 + HST

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES.
