Winter Printmaking & Colour Lab

Join me for a cozy winter day in the studio filled with a seasonal printmaking art class designed to surprise! Students will draw, design, and compose their own winter landscape collagraph. In this workshop students will build a winter scene layered with their hand-made shapes and all the things that inspire them about winter. Using artist inks and printmaking techniques together we will savour the very best part, the magical moment when the paper lifts and the print is revealed.

After some fresh air and free play we will turn the studio into a colour lab! Students mix and imagine their own world of colours, captured brilliantly on paper. Mixing, inventing, and naming entirely original colours is such a magical way for young artists to play and share their unique perspective.

PS: This colour workshop is one of my all-time favourite art classes for kids!
